Taj Mahal

When you heard the word India, Taj Mahal is one of those things that comes up to your mind at the first moment. This man made beauty is made by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan between 1632 to 1647. He has dedicated this to his favorite wife Mumtaz Mahal. He built this out of pure love for Mumtaz after she died during childbirth. So this is considered the symbol of love all around the world. This castle is made entirely out of white marble and that’s why there are no lights there because you can see everything with natural moonlight at night and that scenery is a beauty you cannot miss. Taj Mahal is 240 feet tall, 1,902 feet length and 1,002 feet width. So this magnificent human made creation is something you must see if you visit India.

Ajanta Caves

 If you are a Buddhist or interested in Buddhism culture, then this is a place you cannot miss. This is considered a Buddhism art masterpiece by the UNESCO. These caves are built in two phases. The first phase is believed to be built around 2nd century BCE and the second one around 400-650 CE. Since this possesses a very important historian value, Ajanta Caves have being declared as a UNESCO world heritage site since 1983. These caves are carved in a rock of a cliff. The rock is layered horizontally. Most of the caves are symmetric squared vihara halls. Then there are other halls that has a triangular architecture. All of these caves are full of paintings, statues and friezes that are thousands years old. So if you are a history lover, you will enjoy Ajanta Caves to the fullest.

Rajasthan

This is the largest state in India with covering an area of 132,139 sq miles. But if you love to travel long distance to visit places, Rajasthan is the ideal place for you since it has places with natural beauty and human made places with such historical value. If you are a wildlife enthusiast, then you can visit the marvelous Rathambore national park, Mount Abu and Bharatpur for bird watching. If you love to visit places with historical value, you can visit places such as Bundi, Jaipur, Udaipur, Jaisalmer and lots of other places. Goa Beaches

Goa is another state in India and it’s mostly famous for its magnificent beaches. So if you are a beach lover, this is the ideal place for you since it has all kinds of beaches. Throughout a coastline of 100 kilometers, there are 35 beaches totally. Some beaches are so quiet. They are ideal for relaxing and spending the time with your family. Restaurants are very close to the beach so you will have no problem with getting anything. Also anyone can visit these beaches and there is no entrance fee. You can see gold sand if you visit south side and slightly grey sand if you visit the north side. Since most beaches are flat, it’s very easy to swim. The ideal time to visit Goa beaches are between months of October and March.

Ladakh

This is also a state in India but a part of it belongs to Pakistan. It’s mostly famous for possessing magnificent landscapes and very clear sky. Also there are lots of mountains so you can go hiking there and do lots of more thrilling activities. You can also visit Buddhist Monasteries that have significant historical value and attend to unique festivals there. There are also romantic places to visit if you go there with your better half. Most people assume that it’s not safe to go there since it’s a union state between India and Pakistan but it’s not true. But the roads are relatively dangerous due to lots of reasons such as no gas stations in between and bad roads. So be prepared before traveling there.
